Is the Intro to Rifle Course appropriate for someone who has never handled a rifle before?
Yes, this course is perfect for beginners! We start with the basics, covering everything from safety to hands-on shooting practice. By the end of the class, you’ll feel confident in your ability to safely handle and shoot a rifle.
What kind of rifle should I bring to this class?
If you already own a rifle, feel free to bring it, along with at least 100 rounds of ammunition. If you don’t have one yet, we can provide a loaner rifle for the course. We also recommend bringing eye and ear protection, and we’ll provide a full gear list once you register.
Will this course help me prepare for hunting with a rifle?
Absolutely! This course covers the fundamentals of rifle shooting, which are essential for hunting. You’ll learn proper shooting techniques, how to sight in your rifle, and how to handle your firearm safely—all important skills for any hunter.
